Valérie Bégin

Valérie is a lawyer in the Family Law Group at Sicotte Guilbault.

Valérie was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2022. After receiving her J.D. (cum laude) from the French Common Law Program of the University of Ottawa in June 2021, she started her career at a local law firm as a criminal defence lawyer where she gained extensive court room experience. She represented clients before various levels of court, namely the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, the Court of Appeal of Ontario and the Court of Québec.

Prior to attending law school, Valérie completed an Honours B.Soc.Sc. in Political Science with a minor in Criminology (magna cum laude) in 2018, also at the University of Ottawa.

Valérie is passionate about her work and strives to provide exceptional legal services to her clients.

Valérie is proud to service her clients in both French and English.

When not working, Valérie enjoys travelling and reading. She’s a coffee lover and is always willing to try new restaurants.
